Display Boards: Open House | June 28, 2016
An Open House for the draft Land Use Plan was held from 4pm - 7pm on June 28, 2016 at Hope Church in Grand Forks. Members of the project team were available to answer questions and gather input on the draft Plan, including goals, objectives and pilot site concept designs. Display boards will be featured at City Hall for additional comments.
Technical Memo #4: Implementation | May 2016
The 2045 Land Use Plan updates and establishes a new vision and goals as guidelines for the growth and development of Grand Forks. This memo provides short-term and long-term recommendations on how the City and MPO can move forward to reach these goals.

Technical Memo #3: Pilot Sites | February 2016
The team hosted several workshops in February 2016 to gather community ideas on the development or redevelopment of three pilot sites. Residents were asked to develop conceptual site designs with discussion focused on livability, placemaking, and active living. Tech Memo #3 provides detail on key themes and showcases conceptual designs for each site developed from community input.

Growth Tiers, Future Land Use Map, and Goals and Objectives Update | February 2016
This memo provides an update to the growth tiers and future land use maps from Technical Memo #2 in an effort to better coordinate with the City's planned water and sewer infrastructure investments. In response to public guidance, goals and objectives from Technical Memo #1 are updated to incorporate language regarding bikability in Grand Forks. The memo was presented to the Land Use Subcommittee on February 1st, 2016.
Public Engagement Report | September 2015
The project team hosted a Kick-off Workshop and took project questions to three (3) events during the week of the Potato Bowl to engage community members in places where they were already gathered.
Technical Memo #2: Growth Tiers
The Growth Tiers memo builds on projections and goals from Technical Memo #1 to revise future land use needs and provide updated growth tiers and future land use maps, including a multi-modal transportation analysis. Three pilot areas are identified as opportunities to exemplify principles of livability, Ladders of Opportunity initiatives, and placemaking goals.
Technical Memo #1: Existing Conditions
The Existing Conditions memo lays the groundwork for the 2045 Land Use Plan Update through documentation of current demographics, housing, and population and employment forecasts. Goals and objectives of the previous 2040 Land Use Plan are reviewed and updated.
